A pharmaceutical composition in effective dosage unit form for enhancing pulmonary function in mammals comprising either (a) pirbuterol and hydroxyzine or (b) a pharmaceuticallyacceptable acid addition salt of each of pirbuterol and hydroxyzine, the said composition comprising pirbuterol and hydroxyzine in the weight ratio, calculated as the free base of each, of from 1:0.3 to 1:5; and the use of such composition for enhancing pulmonary function in a mammalian subject. |
