abstract | Novel substituted indoles containing a thio group, of the formula I <IMAGE> or of the formula I' <IMAGE> are prepared by introducing the heterocyclic groups indicated into the corresponding amines by substitution on the nitrogen atom. In the substituted indoles of the formulae I and I', the substituents have the meaning given in Patent Claim 1 and the thio group of these compounds can be converted into the sulphonyl group or sulphinyl group by oxidation.
