titleOfInvention 4-aminoquinoline derivatives
abstract 1474296 4-Aminoquinoline derivatives JOHN WYETH & BRO Ltd 23 Jan 1976 [23 Jan 1975] 2924/75 Addition to 1416872 Heading C2C The invention comprises compounds of formula and their acid addition salts, wherein X is halogen or CF 3 ; Z is H, halogen, CF 3 , OH, NO 2 , R, RO, RNH or (R) 2 N, where R is C 1-6 alkyl; R<SP>1</SP> is H or R; and R<SP>2</SP> is RNH-A or (R) 2 N-A (A being C 1-6 alkylene), or piperidyl (optionally 1-substituted by aryl-A- or R); or NR<SP>1</SP>R<SP>2</SP> is RNH- or (R) 2 N- substituted piperidine. In examples, these compounds are prepared by reacting the corresponding acid chloride with HNH<SP>1</SP>R<SP>2</SP>. Therapeutic compositions having antiinflammatory activity, and in certain eases antihypertensive or blood platelet aggregation inhibiting activity, comprise compounds of the above formula, and may be administered (e.g.) orally or parenterally.n[GB1474296A]
