titleOfInvention | Dental solder |
abstract | 1502084 Dental solder JOHNSON & JOHNSON 2 Feb 1976 [3 Feb 1975] 03972/76 Heading C7A A dental solder with a fusion range of 1800- 1950‹F (980-1070‹C) consisting of, apart from impurities, i.e. C, Cr 14-19À9 Si 4À0-5À5 B 2À5-6À0 Ni 65-75 and optionally Mo 0-6 has a Cr/Ni ratio of 0À18-0À27 and has a tensile strength of at least 70,000 psi when used to solder non-precious metal alloys. The solder may be prepared by melting, atomizing with high pressure argon or nitrogen and hot extruding the powder at 1400-1750‹C to obtain thin wire suitable for soldering, or by normal melting and casting methods. |
