titleOfInvention | Phenylbutazone derivatives |
abstract | Novel phenylbutazone derivatives of the accompanying formula I, in which R represents an alkyl radical having 1 to 5 carbon atoms or a heterocyclic radical, preferably the heterocyclic radical of nicotinic or isonicotinic acid, are prepared by reaction of phenylbutazone with L- or D,L-proline whose N atom is protected by the -COR group. The compounds are distinguished by a good anti-inflammatory action, the undesired side effects being very low. The compounds can be used for medicaments for the treatment of rheumatic disorders. |
