abstract 1484578 Herbicidal application of Thiadiazolyl ureas SCHERING AG 12 Aug 1974 [16 Aug 1973] 35427/74 Heading A5E [Also in Division C2] Herbicidal compositions comprise carriers in admixture or conjunction with 1, 3, 4 thiadiazol-2-yl ureas of the formula I:- wherein n is O, 1 or 2, R 2 is a hydrogen atom and when n is O, it may be a methyl group, and R 1 is a branched and/or unsaturated C 4 aliphatic hydrocarbon group or a C 5-8 aliphatic hydrocarbon group, and, when n is o and R 2 is a methyl group, it may be a n-butyl group. The composition may also contain other active ingredients, e.g. triazines, aminotriazoles, anilides, diazines, uracils, aliphatic carboxylic acids and halocarboxylic acids, halogenated benzoic acids carbamic acid esters and thiocarbamic acid esters, ureas, 2, 3, 6-trichloro benzyloxy-propanol and thiocyanogen-containing agents Reference has been directed by the comptroller to Specifications 1195672 and 1297147.n[GB1484578A]
