titleOfInvention Aminomethane phosphonic acid derivatives and their use forregulating plant growth
abstract 1471754 Plant-growth regulant BAYER AG 18 June 1974 [19 June 1973] 26945/74 Heading C1B [Also in Division C2] A plant-growth-regulating composition contains, as active ingredient, an aminomethanephosphonic acid derivative of the general Formula (I) in which R is an NH 2 group or an -#NH 3 X<SP>(-)</SP> radical wherein X<SP>(-)</SP> is one equivalent of an anion of an organic or inorganic acid, and (i), if R is NH 2 , then each of R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>11</SP>, which may be identical or different, is one equivalent of a protonized nitrogen base, the base being selected from isopropylamine, diethylamine, triethylamine, butylamine, ethylenediamine, pyrrolidine, imidazole, piperidine and morpholine, or of a compound which is formed by protonization of glycine or glycine ethyl ester, or hydrogen, provided that R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>11</SP> cannot simultaneously be hydrogen, or (ii), if R is an -#NH 3 X<SP>(-)</SP> radical, R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>11</SP> are both hydrogen, in admixture with a solid or liquefied gaseous diluent or carrier or in admixture with a liquid diluent or carrier containing a surface active agent. Specified anions X<SP>(-)</SP> are the chloride, bromide, sulphate, methylsulphonate, nitrate, acetate, dichloroacetate and trichloroacetate anions. The compositions may also contain other active agents and the active ingredients I may also be applied to a plant or plant habitat either alone or in admixture with a diluent or carrier to regulate the growth of the plants. Specification 1,437,952 is referred to.n[GB1471754A]
