The binding agent may be a polyvinyl ester, polyacrylamide, silicone or shellac, The granules may be spray-dried, microencapsulated or in the form of a suspension in an aqueous or emulsifiable oily medium. The agent may be a penicillin such as benzathine cloxacillin, amoxycillin or amplicillin, and the method may be used for the treatment of bovine mastitis.n[GB1455296A]
