titleOfInvention | 3-quinoline-carboxylic acid compounds, process for their manufacture and compositions containing them |
abstract | The feed additive promotes the growth of poultry. It contains as active component a compound of the formula <IMAGE> including tautomers and non-toxic salts thereof. Ph is a 1,2-phenyl radical substituted by -X1-A-R<I> and -X2-R<II>. X1 and X2 denote oxygen or sulphur, A denotes a direct bond or a divalent aliphatic radical, R<I> denotes a cycloaliphatic and R<II> a higher aliphatic radical. R1 represents an unesterified or esterified carboxyl group, a carbamyl, hydrazinocarbonyl or cyano group, R2 represents hydrogen or lower alkyl and R3 represents hydrogen or an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic hydrocarbon radical. The active substance concentration in the feed additive is expediently about 1-75% and can make up about 0.0001-0.1% in the final feed which can be produced using the feed additive.n[GB1270412A] |
