abstract The selective shielding material for radiation shielding according to the invention comprises polymer, additive and conventional stabilizers for granular polymers as well as manufacturing auxiliaries. The polymer may be an inorganic or organic polymer. As an additive, at least one metal oxide-coated mica or sheet material is used, such as interference pigment. The material according to the invention can be used for plant cultivation, such as for laying hothouses or for mulching.
