abstract As a remedy for pollakiuria and other hyperactive bladder as well as other types of urinary incontinences exhibiting anti-cholinergic and calcium antagonistic actions have been found new butynylamine derivatives represented by the following general formula (I) and pharmacological acceptable salts thereofn wherein R¹ and R² are the same or different cycloalkyl, phenyl or 2-thienyl group, R³ and R⁴ are the same or dif­ferent hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, or together complete a cycloalkyl group in conjunction with the ad­jacent carbon atoms; R⁵ and R⁶ are the same or different hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, or together complete a cyclic amino group in conjunction with the adjacent nitrogen atom; and A denotes O or NR (in which R is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group), excluding the case in which R³ and R⁴ are both hydrogen atoms, A is O, and either one of R¹ and R² is phenyl.
