abstract A substituted-acetamide compound of the formula :n whereinn R 1 is aryl which may have one or more suitable substituent(s), R 2 is aryl which may have one or more suitable substituent(s), lower alkyl or cyclo(lower)alkyl, R 3 is hydrogen, hydroxy, halogen, lower alkenyl, amino or protected amino, R 4 is a group of the formula : wherein R 5 is lower alkyl which may have one or more suitable substituent(s), cyclo(lower)alkyl, aryl, ar(lower)alkyl which may have one or more suitable substituent(s), and R 6 is hydrogen or lower alkyl; or N-containing heterocyclic group which may have one or more suitable substituent(s), and A is lower alkylene or lower alkynylene, in which R 1 and R 2 may be linked through oxygen atom, and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, processes for their preparation and pharmaceutical compositions comprising them as an active ingredient. The invention relates also to intermediates of the above formula, wherein R 4 is a leaving group.
