abstract | Prepn. of practically solvent free protein pulps and dried end-products from meat-trade, oil contg. plant byproducts and fallen animals. The comminuted and sterilized raw material is extracted with chlorinated solvent, washed with water and the resulting pulp is opt. dried. - Constituents are separated following sterilization, according their specific gravity, namely, supernatant fat is removed, central aqueous layer is separated, and the lower layer extracted. Rinsing makes use of the water derived from the separated aq. layer. |
