abstract | The proposed equipment comprises a horizontal, cylindrical fermenter vessel which is connected by a feed pipe to a transfer vessel and pre-mixer. Mixer blades are located inside the fermenter vessel, parallel with its axis. A bacterium net is fixed behind each mixer blade. A hot water coil is also built into the fermenter vessel. It is located near the wall of the vessel and connected to a heater unit. The pre-mixer is connected to the discharge of the fermenter vessel through the by-pass connection. |
