abstract The tool has a compression die linearly-slidable by a feed device (70), and a defect cavity (65) comprising a cylindrical geometry with a cross section area that inwardly extends into a mold part cavity (61). A longitudinal axis of the defect cavity is arranged under a predetermined angle to a surface of the mold part cavity. A displacement line of the compression die runs parallel to and concentric to the longitudinal axis the defect cavity such that a feed motion of the compression die causes a reduction of a free volume of the defect cavity. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing molded parts.
