The invention concerns an agent for treatment of wastewater for fast suppressing anaerobic bacteria and a method for treatment of wastewater. n The object of invention is to obtain an acceleration of suppressing the metabolism of Sulphate reducing bacteria. n This is achieved with an aqueous solution containing nitrate and nitrite, or nitrate, nitrite and an extract from activated sludge sufficiently supplied with oxygen and/or nitrate and a method for fast suppressing of septic bacteria. |
