Amphifilic segmental copolymer with controlled morphology and ophthalmic devices made from it, including contact lenses |
abstract |
The present invention relates to an amphiphilic segmented stone polymer of controlled humidity, comprising at least one high oxygen permeability segment and at least a high ion and water permeability segment, wherein the segments are bonded to a non-hydrolyzable bond and bonded to at least one other. The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of stone polymer, polymeric products obtained by further polymerization and tax crosslinking of azamphilic segmental stone polymers, and molded products containing inventive polymeric products, in particular stone lenses and other ophthalmic devices. A particularly advantageous killing is the use of a stone contact lens for a longer duration of wear comprising a polymer polymer product of the invention. ŕ |
