abstract The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of a compound of formula (I), namely a compound of formula (III) wherein R is hydrogen or R2 and R2 is allyl or substituted methyltube, of which can be one to three carbon atoms, in the case of aryl, substituted by one or more nitro and / or C 1-6 alcohols; a) is treated with a compound of the formula X, wherein J is an effluent, e.g. mycogen, azate, C 1-6 acyl latex or C 6-10 aryl latex, preferably chlorine or bromine; and b) when R is R2, the product of step a) is further treated with an acid. The invention also relates to the compound of formula (II) wherein R is R2 and R2 is as defined above, preferably CH3OC6H4CH2. ŕ
