abstract | The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of [S- (R *, R *)] - 3-methyl-2- (3-hexoxy-3H-benzo [d] isolazol-2-yl) -pentanoic acid. According to the present invention, 2,2'-dithiothalysalicylic acid is reacted with a fish germinating agent and then reacted with L-isoleucine in the resulting 2,2'-dithiobisobenzoyl-haloidenetetrahydrofuran or in a mixture of a base and S- (R *, R *)], L-2- (2- [2- (1-Carboxy-2-methyl-butylcarbamoyl) -phenyl-disylphenyl] -benzylamino) -3-methyl-pentanoic acid with a fish gene oxidation reagent to produce [S- (R *, R *] -3-methyl-2- (3-hexoxy-3H-benzo [d] thiazol-2-yl) -pentanoic acid).
