abstract The present invention relates to a novel Gram-positive expression vector system. Protein fusions comprising the amino and carboxy hair transcription sequences of a Gram-positive cell surface polypeptide can be immobilized on the surface of a heterologous host. Alternatively, recombinant proteins can be secreted into the growth medium. This system can be used for the overproduction and purification of recombinant proteins or peptides for any purpose, including the industrial production of diagnostic and vaccine antigens as well as therapeutic proteins such as heather and growth factors. ŕ
