The present invention relates to a novel process for the preparation of compounds of general formula (I) known as anti-malarial drugs, wherein R 1 is C 1-6 alkyl; R2 and R3 are independently hydrogen, halo, triflurethyl, or C1-6alkyl; R4 is C1-6alkyl; R 5 is a hydrogen atom or a C 1-6 alkyl radical; and R6 is a nitrile coat or amine powder.
