abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for expressing a bile salt-stimulated lipase (BSSL) enzyme in transformed microorganisms, to DNA molecules encoding BSSL or a biologically active variant thereof, and to cell vectors comprising such cells, and to an expression vector for expressing BSSL. In addition to the coding sequence, BSSL production is comprised of DNA containing fragments encoding a methane oxidase primer and invertase signal peptide sequences from Saccharomyces cerevisiae transfected with a main expression vector transfected with a main expression vector.
