| abstract |
The present invention relates to a blood glucose measuring device (10). More essentially, the invention comprises a) a blood glucose measuring strip (14) and a co-receiving portion (28) into which the blood glucose concentration in the blood to be measured is placed for measurement and the measuring strip (14) can be placed in a single measuring device (12), and b) a protective skimmer (16, 116) capped to the measuring strip (14) and at least partially bounding the sample receiving portion (28) and covering at least a part of the measuring means (12) when the measuring strip (14) is in the measuring position. ŕ |
