abstract | The invention concerns new polysilicic acid and polyisocyanate materials, composites and foams with improved mechanical properties and better resistance to heat and chemicals. Charateristic of the new materials is that they are composed of: 100 parts by weight of polyisocyanate; 50-400 parts by weight of polysilicic acid constituent; 0.5-70 parts by weight of phosphoric acid triesters and /or the phosphoric acid monoester and/or diester salts formed with amines and/or alkali metals; and optionally, 0-5 parts by weight of catalysts containing tertiary amino groups; 0-50 parts by weight of active diluting agent; 0-10 parts by weight of surface active agent(s). In addition, the materials include fillers and optionally other auxiliary substances amounting to 0-400 % by weight related to the total weight of the constituents named (= 100 %). |
