abstract | The present invention relates to an aminoacetonitrile derivative or salts thereof, having formula (I), wherein R represents an alkyl group which may be substituted by phenyl groups (which may be substituted by halogen atoms or C1-3 alkyl groups), C1-3 alkoxy-carbonyl groups, hydroxy groups, mercapto groups, halogen atoms, naphthyl groups, furyl groups or R1NHCO- groups (where R1 is a phenyl group which may be substituted by halogen atoms, an alkyl group which may be substituted by phenyl groups or a cycloalkyl group), a phenyl group which may be substituted by halogen atoms, C1-5 alkyl groups (which may be substituted by halogen atoms or phenyl groups), cycloalkyl groups, phenyl groups (which may be substituted by halogen atoms), phenoxy groups (which may be substituted by C1-3 alkyl groups or haloalkyl groups), tetrahydronaphthoxy groups, C1-3 alkoxy groups (which may be substituted halogen atoms), nitro groups, amino groups or hydroxy groups, a cycloalkyl group, a C2-4 alkenyl group, a naphthy group which may be substituted by halogen atoms, a dibenzofuranyl group, a C1-3 alkylcarbonyl group, a thienyl group or a fluorenyl group. The aminoacetonitrile derivative can be used as starting materials for the production of pharmaceutical and/or agricultural intermediates such as benzamide derivatives with fungicidal and herbicidal activities. |
