Process for producing gene encoding interleukin-2 polypeptide, recombinant dna carrying the gene, living cell line having the recombinant dna and process for producing interleukin-2 with such cells |
abstract |
A method of producing interleukin-2 by culturing an interleukin-2-forming, transformed eukaryotic or prokaryotic cell line is provided. This cell line is obtained by first isolating a gene encoded for a polypeptide having interleukin-2 activity and having a vector DNA capable of replicating in prokaryotic or eukaryotic cells at a position downstream of a promoter gene in the Vector is linked. With the recombinant DNA thus obtained, the prokaryotic or eukaryotic cells are transformed and thus capable of forming interleukin-2. |
