titleOfInvention Process for composting wastes of forest and wood working industries and/or other wastes of high cellulose content
abstract Composting timber industry or other high cellulose contacting wastes. After drying and communition to 0.1-1.0 cm size the waste is inoculated with a culture of cellulose decomposing bacteria.A biomass of algae is added, the latter may also contain cellulose decomposing bacteria, its moisture content is adjusted pref. by liquid manure. The compost is ripened pref. under anaerobic conditions for a period of 3 weeks - 6 months, moistened by a nitrate soln. and ripened further pref. anaerobically while occasional samples are taken and/or is turned over. The compost can be mixed with soil components as soil for flowers or arables with nontoxic waste mud etc. or a microfloral culture. This is followed by optional adjustment of pH, addn. of minerals and other sepd. constituents.
