abstract | The process according to the invention consists in converting the 2,1,3-benzoxadiazole to an appropriate 4- (2,1,3-benzoxadiazolid) salt with an organic lithium base, and the salt thus obtained is fatty. The aldehyde of the present invention is an important starting compound for the preparation of pharmacologically active 4- (2,1,3-benzoxadiazol-4-yl) -1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives.
