The macroild antibiotic complex Tylosin and its components e.g. Tylosin A, Tylosin C, Tylosin D and Lactenocin and their salts acceptable for veterinary and animal feed purposes are prepd. by aerobic fermentation of the strain MNG 00274 of the microorganism Streptomyces Tendae, its mutants or variants, or any other strain producing the Tylosin antibiotic complex, on a nutrient contg. organic nitrogen and carbon sources and mineral salts, in the temp. range 25-40 deg.C.. The resulting Tylosin antibiotic complex is sepd. from the fermentation liquor, the components of the antibiotic complex are opt. sepd. from each other and/or opt. transformed into salts acceptable for veterinary and animal feed purposes. |
