titleOfInvention Process for continous separation of fructose from syrups made from glucose inverted sugar or izomeric glucose
abstract Process for the separation of fructose from glucose. The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for separating fructose from glucose by means of anion exchange resins in glucose syrup which has been isomerized with the aid of glucose isomerase and in the solutions of invert sugar. It is an object of the present invention to develop a process for the separation of glucose and fructose, which can be carried out continuously and in which less dilute solutions of the individual sugars are obtained. The object is achieved in such a way that the separation of anion exchange resins in bisulfite form in a system of three pillars, which are durchroemt each from bottom to top. At the same time, different stages take place. The process allows full utilization of the anion exchange bed and thereby offers the possibility of economic separation of fructose from glucose, which are simultaneously obtained side by side.
