abstract Hard, flavoured, artificial 'bone' for dogs is proposed. Due to its granular compsn. it is better for cleaning the dogs' teeth than 'bone' made of dried skin and it is also fully digestible. Hardness of the 'bone' is achieved by mixing fine wheat flour and milled maize with a solidifying agent comprising cooked and liquidised animal skin, without fats. Finally the mixture is baked.
