Process for producing liophylized combined vaccines |
abstract |
The invention relates to a process for the preparation of lyophilized combined vaccines. The aim of the invention is the provision of vaccines with a longer storage stability and better durability under different climatic conditions. According to the invention are concentrated to a concentration of 5 to 15 doses / 3 ml of concentrated tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis u. if appropriate, typhoid antigens at pH values of 3 to 6 are absorbed onto an unloesistant carrier which is equally concentrated to the antigens. After the pH is adjusted to a value of 5 to 6, the mixture is lyophilized with a vehicle common in the lyophilization technique. In use, the lyophilized vaccine must be diluted to the application concentration by means of a physiological saline solution (pH: 6.8 to 7) buffered by phosphate. |
