abstract The invention relates to herbicidal compositions which contain as active ingredient a mixture of a compound of the formula I and a compound of the general formula II in which X is chlorine, methylthio or methoxy, in an amount of from 0.1 to 85.0% by weight. , in a quantity ratio of between 19: 1 and 1: 4, preferably between 4: 1 and 1: 1. The synergistic herbicidal compositions according to the invention can be used in field crops, especially in autumn wheat, for pre- and post-emergent weed control. They accelerate the decay of the weeds, are also pre-emergent applicable, create favorable conditions for the growth of autumn wheat and result in an increase in yield.
