titleOfInvention Method for producing killed vaccine againt disfigure snout inflammation of swine as well as against pneumonia of swine caused by bordetelles and pasteurelles
abstract The present invention relates to a method for preparing a vaccine against swollen nose inflammation in pigs and from pneumonia caused by Bordetellas and Pét jurelles. According to the method, three Bordetella strains: U-219 (Capricorn) (deposit number: OKI 00250), U-2191 (Baja) (deposit number: OKI 00248) and U-9949 (Hódmezővásárhely) (deposit number; OKI 00249) are propagated separately for 24 to 72 hours at 36.0 to 37.5 ° C on a solid medium known per se, then inoculated at pH 7.2 to 8.0 and for 6 to 10 hours at 36.0 to 37.5. After centrifugation at ° C, the suspensions are optionally centrifuged until the germ number is 55-65, preferably 60 billion / ml, followed by 0.3 to 0.8% glutaraldehyde solution or 0.02 g / ml. - with 0.08% ethyl mercuric thiosalicylate solution. Pasteurella multocida P-219 (Deposit): OKI 00251 and P-6995 (Füzesabony) (deposit no. OKI 00252) on known solid media separately for 18 to 32 hours at 36.0-37.5 They are propagated at ° C and are inoculated with the same soup as the Bordetella strains and propagated by aeration for 4-6 hours. They then proceed in the same way as above. The killed antigen suspension obtained from the five strains is homogeneously mixed with adjuvanted aluminum hydroxide gel (12-24% by volume) with an Al content of 24-25 mg / ml. The killed vaccine produced according to the method contains all seven Bordetella K antigens necessary for effective control of the disease in pigs. -1-
