abstract Die neuen Cycloalka[4,5]pyrrolo[2,3-g]isochinoline der allgemeinen Formeln worin R, Wasserstoff, Alkyl, Acyl oder Aralkyl, R 2 Wasserstoff, Alkyl, Hydroxyalkyl, Arylhydroxyalkyl, Alkoxyalkyl, Acyloxyalkyl, Acylalkyl, Aralkyl, Alkenyl, Cycloalkyl-alkyl, Alkinyl, Thienyl-alkyl, Furyl-alkyl, Arylcarboxamidoalkyl, Aralkenyl, Alkenyloxyalkyl, Aryloxyalkyl, Aralkyloxyalkyl oder Aryl-N-imidazolonylalkyl, X ein Sauerstoff- oder Schwefelatom und n die Zahl 3, 4, 5 oder 6 bedeuten, ihre optischen und geometrischen Isomeren, sowie ihre pharmazeutisch annehmbaren Säureadditionssalze zeigen neuroleptische Aktivität und sind nützliche antipsychotische Mittel für die Behandlung von Schizophrenie. Die obigen Verbindungen können ausgehend von zum Teil neuen Zwischenprodukten nach verschiedenen Verfahren hergestellt werden.
