titleOfInvention Process for preparing 2-alkoxy-4,6-dichloro-s-thiazines
abstract The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of 2-alkoxy-4,6-dichloro-s-triazines by the known per se reaction of cyanuric chloride with alcohols in the presence of an acid-binding agent, but in the manner that with high mixing and therefore high conversion rates are worked out and large Durchsaetze can be obtained in small rohrfoermigen containers when one introduces liquid cyanuric chloride through a mounted in the upper part of a mixing device Duese countercurrent to the rising from below by a Duese or Duesen reactant (+ acid binding agent). The Duese or nozzles for the reactant are placed above a chest constriction in the lower open part of the device. The procedure can be carried out under normal as well as overpressure or underpressure. The invention provides a process according to which substituted 2-alkoxy-4,6-dichloro-s-triazines can be prepared continuously in the reactor with high purity.
