The invention relates to novel, acting on the central nervous system tripeptidamides of the general formula Glp-XY-NH-A, wherein X is an L-norleucyl, L-leucyl, L-norvalyl, D-leucyl, L-prolyl, L-2-aminobutyryl, L-valyl, L-threonyl, L-isoleucyl, L-2-aminodecanoyl, L-cyclohexylalanyl or L-tert-butyl-seryl and Y is an L-homoprolyl or L-pipecolyl group, A is hydrogen or an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms or a substituted by a dimethylamino alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms in the alkyl part, with the restriction that, when X is an L-leucyl group, A is not hydrogen. The new TRH analogues are prepared from the corresponding amino acids by the usual peptide chemistry methods. |
