titleOfInvention Method for producing a very light litter of high smell and liquid absorbability and the very light litter of high smell and liquid capacity produced by this method
abstract The composition of ultra light litter of small animals comprises multivalent acidically hydrolyzing metal sulfates such as iron/aluminum sulfates, alums, sodium bisulfate/trisodium bisulfate, water soluble solid organic acids or acid anhydrides maleic acid anhydride, and an additive (1-5%) in a form of solid state that is soluble in water with acidic effect. The compositions are constituted by mixtures of gypsum/cement (30-60%), expanded up punvicit/perlite (10-50%), and starch/flour/carboxymethyl- or hydroxyalkyl-cellulose derivates (0.5-40%) modified by hot water/base treatment. The granule is composed of the compositions or two(multi) layered having a light, solid inner core, which is a foamed, burnt clay granule and an active layer composed of the compositions. The mixture has a bulk density of 0.2-1.2 g/cm3>.
