abstract |
The present invention relates to a non-sporulating strain of Bacillus subtilis and to a process for its preparation, in which at least 150 nucleotides have been deleted from the sigG gene of the strain. The invention further relates to the use of the disclosed non-sporulating B. subtilis strain as a producer organism. The invention also includes a process for the preparation of a biologically produced product, wherein the product is prepared using the non-sporulating Bacillus subtilis strain of the invention.
