The invention relates to in vivo and in vitro expression vectors comprising a polynucleotide encoding West Nile virus E protein, optionally together with prM membrane protein prM and / or M membrane protein, preferably prM-M-E. The invivo expression vectors are used in live vaccines. In vitro expression vectors are used to produce proteins in vitro which can then be used in subunit vaccines. The present invention also relates to multivalent vaccines comprising a vaccine component against West Nile virus and another vaccine component against another pathogen. The invention is particularly applicable to horses, dogs, cats, cattle, pigs and birds. SHE |
