abstract The present invention relates to a method for treating microcirculatory disorders caused by NO-dependent microcirculation disorders in the human or non-human animal body, such as metabolic disorders, inflammatory reactions, autoimmune diseases, and peripheral microcirculation disorders; the method comprising administering to such a treatment agent an effective dose of a pharmaceutical composition comprising a free radical scavenger such as dipyridamole or vagymopidamole and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, optionally in combination with a NO-raising agent. The invention also relates to the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition containing the above active ingredient. HE
