abstract |
The present invention relates to the use of bcl-2 antisense oligomers for the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of bcl-2 related disorders. Such disorders include cancers, tumors, carcinomas and diseases related to cell proliferation. In a preferred embodiment, the abcl-2 antisense oligomer is used in high doses. The present invention also relates to a method for the prevention or treatment of bcl-2-related disorders, in particular cancer, comprising administering a bcl-2 antisense oligomer for short periods. The invention further relates to the use of bcl-2 antisense oligomers for increasing the sensitivity of a subject to acacia therapy.
