abstract SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a crystalline salt of N- (3-ethynylphenyl) -6,7-bis (2-methoxyethoxy) -4-quinazolinamine hydrochloride having the anti-proliferative activity of formula (2) having an X-ray powder diffraction pattern. typical peaks in 2q are approximately 6.26, 12.48, 13.39, 16.96, 20.20, 21.10, 22.98, 24.46, 25.14, 26.91. The present invention further provides a salt-A crystalline modification of N- (3-ethynylphenyl) -6,7-bis (2-methoxyethoxy) -4-quinazolinamine hydrochloride which is substantially free of B modulation. The present invention also relates to a process for the preparation of a B-labeled crystalline form of the N- (3-ethynylphenyl) -6,7-bis (2-methoxyethoxy) -4-quinazolinamine hydrochloride salt, wherein the N- (3-ethynylphenyl) -6 It is recrystallized from a solvent containing 7-bis (2-methoxyethoxy) -4-quinazolinamine hydrochloride alcohol.
