abstract The present invention relates to a high electron conductive mixed oxide material having the formula: ABOy, where y 3, and wherein A is Na, K, R b, Ca, Ba, La, Pr, Sr, Ce, Nb, Pb, Nd, Denotes at least one metal selected from Sm and Gdalkotta, and wherein Ba is selected from the group consisting of Cu, Mg, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Nb, Mo, W and Zr and wherein A and 8 are simpler Nb, and wherein the SrVO2.5 material is excluded. The material may be a perovskite type material where y = 3-d, where d 0 and d are from about 0.2 to about 0.2. In the range of -0.05, or from about 0.05 to about 0.05.
