titleOfInvention | Uv resistant flocking adhesive for polymer substrates |
abstract | Ultraviolet (UV)-resistant flocking adhesive for polymer substrates, based on a 2-component polyurethane binder, contains: (A) a reaction product of a polyester-polyol with a (cyclo)aliphatic polyisocyanate; and (B) polyamine(s). Independent claims are also included for (1) flocked articles based on an elastomer, in which the flock is bonded to the elastomer molding with this adhesive; and (2) production of this article by optionally mechanical roughening, plasma pretreatment or solvent treatment of the elastomer surface, spray, roll or brush application of the adhesive, applying the flock material in known manner and optionally drying/curing the adhesive bond by heating to up to 220 [deg]C (up to 180 [deg]C). |
