The present invention relates to formula (I); substituted bicyclic compounds, pharmaceutically acceptable salts and solvates thereof, which are useful in the treatment of abnormal cell growth in mammals, cancer of the gums. The present invention further provides pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of said diseases comprising an effective amount of a compound of Formula (I), a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The invention also relates to processes for the preparation of a compound of formula (I).
