The present invention relates to the use of a compound of formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R 1 is a linear or branched C 1 -C 8 alkyl or phenyl (CH 2) m - group, m is 0, 1 or 2 and the phenyl ring may be unsubstituted or 1-3 times F, Cl, CH3 or CH3O substituted, R2 and R3 are straight or branched C1-6 alkyl or phenyl, wherein the phenyl is unsubstituted or 1-3 times substituted by F, Cl, CH3 or CH3O, or R2 and R3 together are a 5-6 membered ring which is unsubstituted or fused to a phenyl ring in the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment and prevention of diseases caused by ischemic conditions.
