abstract The present invention relates to the encapsulation of niflumic acid and its derivatives in synthetic esters in liposomes in order to provide a new transdermal, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory composition. Niflumic acid and its esters are encapsulated in liposomes made of various lipids to provide a drug with increased efficacy.
