The present invention relates to compounds of formula (I), pharmaceutical compositions containing them. The compounds of the invention are useful for inhibiting the release and / or formation of b-amyloid peptides in cells, and are therefore useful in the treatment or prevention of various diseases, including Alzheimer's disease.
