A compound of formula (II): wherein X is N; Y is NR 0, or O; n is 0; m is 0; p is 0; R 1 is -N (H) R 2, R 2 is hydrogen; R3 is 2-pyridyl; R5 is hydrogen, or -CN; wherein each individual independent case R 0 is selected from hydrogen, an optionally substituted C 1-6 aliphatic, unsubstituted 5-6 membered heteroaryl or heterocyclic ring (provided that the nitrogen atom in the heterocyclic ring is optionally substituted with -R + or - C (O) R +, wherein R + is (C 1-6 alkyl), more preferably (C 1-4 alkyl), phenyl, -O (Ph), or -CH 2 (Ph), or, notwithstanding the above definition, two independent cases of R °, on the same substituent or different substituents, taken together with the atom (s) in which each R ° group is attached, forms a 5-8 membered heterocyclyl, aryl, or heteroaryl ring or a 3-8 membered cycloalkyl ring having 0-3 heteroatoms independently selected from nitrogen, oxygen, or sulfur, wherein each independent case R ° is selected from hydrogen, optionally substituted C1-6aliphatic, unsubstituted 5-6 membered heteroaryl, or heterocyclic ring, phenyl, -O (Ph ), or -CH2 (Ph), or, notwithstanding the above definition, two independent cases R °, on the same substituent or various substituents, taken together with the atom (s) in which each R ° group is attached, forms a 5-8 membered heterocyclyl, aryl, or heteroaryl ring or a 3-8 membered cycloalkyl ring having 0- 3 heteroatoms independently selected from the group consisting of nitrogen, oxygen, or sulfur; aliphatic group R 0 is optionally substituted with NH 2, NH (C 1-4 aliphatic), N (C 1-4 aliphatic) 2, halogen, C 1-4 aliphatic, OH, O (C 1-4 aliphatic), NO 2, CN, CO 2H, CO2 (C1-4 aliphatic), O (halo C1-4 aliphatic), or halo (C1-4 aliphatic), each of the above C1-4 aliphatic groups being unsubstituted, each individual R * being independently selected from hydrogen or is C1-6 aliphatic optionally substituted with NH2, NH (C1-4 aliphatic), N (C1-4 aliphatic) 2, halogen, C1-4 aliphatic, OH, O (C1-4 aliphatic), NO2, CN, CO2H, CO2 (C1-4 aliphatic), O (halo C1-4 aliphatic), or halo (C1-4 aliphatic), each of the above C1-4 aliphatic groups being unsubstituted, and R being hydrogen or C1-6 aliphatic group, optionally substituted with = O, = S, - NH2, NH (C1-4 aliphatic), N (C1-4 aliphatic) 2, halogen, C1-4 aliphatic, OH, O (C1-4 aliphatic), NO2 , CN, CO2H, CO2 (C1-4 aliphatic), O (halo C1-4 aliphatic), or halo (C1-4 aliphatic), each of the above C1-4 aliphatic groups being unsubstituted. contains 10 more patent claims. |
